To take part in the 27th Annual Vojtěch Jarník International Mathematical Competition you have to fill in the registration form. Deadlines for registrations are 1st March 2017 for universities and 19th March 2017 for competitors.

The fee of participation is 600 CZK (approx. 20 EUR) for every competitor. The fee is paid personally (in cash) at the registration desk after arrival at the University of Ostrava. If you wish to pay the competition fee by a bank transfer, ask the organizers to provide you the bank transfer details.
Travel and accommodation costs are not covered by the organiser.
Accommodation is not managed by the organiser. However, this link could be useful.
The organisers can write and send an invitation and/or confirmation letter for pursuing visa when demanded by the participants.

There are two categories of competitors:
Category I is intended for a university student who does not attend and has not completed the 3rd year of the university studies of Mathematics (or similar branch) and who is less than 22 years old on the day of the Competition.
Category II is intended for a university student who has not completed university studies of Mathematics (or similar branch) and is less than 25 years old on the day of the Competition.
Competitors solve usually four problems in four hours. Problems are chosen by the jury which consists of university delegates.
In the table below there is a complete historical overview of the Competition including some photos. You are very welcome to try to solve the problems yourself without any hints which can be finally found in the "Solutions" section.
